Applying for a certificate (Article 39) - Recognition of a foreigner judgment concerning divorce or the exercise of parental authority (Form 15987*01)

Cerfa 15987*01 (article 39 certificate)

This certificate shall allow for the recognition of judgments given, after 1er march 2005, in another Member State of the European Union in respect of:

  • marriage (divorce, legal separation, marriage annulment)
  • and parental responsibility (exercise of parental authority, residence of the child, right of access and accommodation)

The part of the decision concerning maintenance due for the child is not affected by this Regulation.
