Recording of a drone pilot (Form)

To fly your drone in the open category, you must register with the DGAC.

This obligation concerns you if your drone has the following characteristics:

  • Mass greater than 250 grams
  • Mass less than 250 grams equipped with a camera.

Registration is done online on the AlphaTango portal, in the section “My Activity as Operator”.

At the end of the registration, an operator number, in the form "FRA + 13 characters, is given to you.
