Refugee/stateless person/subsidiary protection: request for copy or extract of civil status document to Ofpra (Online service)

Request a copy or birth certificate if you are a refugee or stateless person or under subsidiary protection.

The document is provided by the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons (Ofpra), which has issued the certificate that acts as your birth certificate.

You can also request one of the following documents:

  • Marriage certificate
  • Death certificate
